2016 BBFNZ Conference/AGM

The Ascot Hotel in Invercargill will be hosting the Brick and Blocklayers Federations (BBFNZ) 50th AGM and Conference between Friday the 12th of August and Sunday 14 August 2016.

Registration is open to anyone interested in being updated on what is happening in the Brick and Blocklaying industry.

This year marks the 50th AGM for BBFNZ, the conference is kicking off with an AGM for members on the Friday afternoon before kicking into our educational and information day on the Saturday.

Special thanks go to the Blockshop for sponsoring a trip for conference attendees to check out Bill Richardsons Transport Museum on the Saturday afternoon before heading into our 50th celebrations.

“If there was ever a year to attend conference, it’s this year. As well as a great line up of speakers, this is our opportunity to celebrate the vision, commitment and determination members of our organisation have had that has helped us achieve our 50-year mark” says BBFNZ CEO Melanie McIver.

This year’s event is a bit earlier to coincide with the Bluff oyster season – so it is the perfect excuse to book up a getaway weekend on the business and indulge yourself in a bit of Southland culture while networking with fellow participants of your industry and keeping up to date with what’s happening in the trade.
